Our passion is art preservation and education. Today our foundations works towards preserving older art forms while teaching old world techniques.
Painted in 1855 this wonderful example of French Master artist Paul Baudry. David and Martha acquired this piece in 2010 and it is now part of the foundation collection. This painting represents the centifolia roses which became the basic rose from many decorative styles which would start in the late 1900's.
This is the top of a large table painted around 1850 in England. The table shows the wonderful blend of the English Chippendale style and the Napoleon III floral styles. This piece was aquired in 2012 and is being restored for future generations of artists to study and be inspired by.
The foundation features several full length in-depth online seminars for free. Here David is showing the recreation using tradition grisaille layering techniques but with new modern earth friendly acrylics. This particular painting is part of a 50 hour lesson which can be viewed for free on our websites.
